Who Am I?

AN ODE TO MY BEST FRIEND SUE

There once lived a Goddess called Sue

who danced like the wind.....this it is true

Her movements and shimmy's made man shout and wail

and I tell you what she could do with a stick or a veil

Non Caucasian men were drawn to her smile

she would give them a glint of her eye once and a while

But alas what chance they would have at that

When Sue's true love was Keely her Cat

Captain Jack also held the key of Sue's pure heart

When she lustfully thought of Jack, she became a real tart

When he sailed the high seas or down even the Usk river

She would be there waving her G-string and be all of a quiver

Sue's the best friend anyone could have, a heart of gold

she's been unlucky in some of her life, or so I am told

But what would this life be without our Goddess of Pill

the world would be a miserable place and even duller still !

"In my  class there are women who ........ love the belly dancing, it's changed their lives, first off they were all in black trousers and daps...Now they turn up in lovely skirts and jewellery and we have a good time. I learned how to teach from you, I still believe you are the best teacher around."

"Thank you and Anna and everyone for a fantastic Hafla on Saturday. It was a truly wonderful evening and amazing to see you and Maria d'Silva dance. I really enjoyed the veil dance (and the compliments from the advanced class!!!). You have helped me find belief and confidence in myself - I performed the dance for John and my family on Sunday (first time I've ever danced for anyone other than at a Hafla) and just like on Saturday there were no nerves and I got compliments!!!!
I hope that you have a wonderful Christmas and that 2008 is full of dreams and wishes coming true. Thank you again for everything, you are the true Goddess."

"Thank you also for making belly dancing so much fun, rewarding and easy to understand, you have taught me moves in a couple of weeks that I had been trying to work out for over a year and just couldn't get my head around."

"Thank you for giving us all the opportunity to dance to such lovely music with a superb dance on Saturday night. Some of the girls in the advanced group commented on the music and the dance, saying how lovely it all was, therefore I am emailing to say……Thank You - It was a fabulous evening. Best wishes, "

"Thank you again for your lovely and inspirational input at our Habibi Hafla last Wednesday. The audience just warmed to your funky and upbeat style doing the saidi stick dance. "Salem Alena" "Here I am again" It was indeed lovely to welcome you at our class venue. In a dramatically changing style you later did a fab veil dance much to the students' delight.

Thank you for coming down to us and generously giving of your time and talent. The audience just loved you."
